Two Years

I swim for my exercise. I have been doing so for two years as of March 18th. In the most recent year, I swam generally five or six days a week and completed over 400 miles. This year, I moved up from swimming one mile to two, and have increased my speed so I am completing each lap in under a minute. The swim is now 72 laps and I come in under 70 minutes typically. I am proud of myself. Though my original goal was to lose weight, it has come off slowly while my waist has gotten smaller. My pants are loose. The next pants purchase will probably be a smaller size.

Last year, I dropped 26 pounds, and this year, I've lost another 10. I still have a long way to go for my goal. I would like to be under 200 pounds again. This morning, the scale said 289 pounds. I've been hovering around that weight for a month or so.

The weather is going to improve. This has been a dry, but cool month of March. Today started at 20 degrees, and isn't expected to get above the mid thirties. Nonetheless, getting back onto the bicycle for more exercise will, I'm sure, have a positive impact on my weight. (Positive impact is weight loss...)
