Kitchen Towel Holder

Many years ago, we wanted a convenient way to hang a kitchen towel so it would be easy to grab for drying our hands. We found just the right thing.
Now we want to put it in a different place. The old one is permanently stuck to the wall with whatever adhesive it came with. I have no clue where we got the original.
Of course, with OpenSCAD and a 3D printer, it's something I can try to make.
This version tries to duplicate the form and function of this deceptively simple device. It is a triangle attached to the wall with two curved side pieces which angle away from the triangular back/base on the wall. Put a corner of a kitchen towel into the top of the groove, and pull gently down. Et voila!
Here's the new one, right at the sink,
easy to grab the towel, use it and hang it back.
- Designed to hold kitchen towels; probably not suitable for heavier towels.
- Use double-sided tape for permanent installation, or 3M Command™ strips (or similar) for removable/reusable placement.
- Medium size strips each hold 3lb/1.3kg and fit well on the triangular back.
